Great Plains Manufacturing, Inc. began operations on April 1, 1976 in a small shop in Salina, Kansas. The company has since become one of the largest privately held agricultural equipment manufacturers in the United States. Great Plains maintains its corporate headquarters in Salina, KS with manufacturing facilities in Assaria, Abilene, Kipp, Lucas, Ellsworth, Tipton and Salina, as well as Sleaford, England. Our manufacturing facilities encompass 1.3 Million+ sq/ft of plant space and are all equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Our 1,000+ experienced employees take great pride in the products they produce for our customers. Great Plains Mfg., Inc. is made up of five Divisions: Great Plains, Land Pride, Great Plains International, Great Plains Acceptance Corporation, and Great Plains Trucking.

Since our inception in 1986, Land Pride has been a leader in grounds maintenance equipment throughout North America. Our understanding of product engineering, hydraulics, and a broad background in seeding has enabled us to produce a full line of high quality tractor implements that continues to expand in the marketplace. Great Plains International distributes both Great Plains and Land Pride product lines to over 50 different countries across the globe. The company's range and worldwide presence was enhanced in 2010 with the purchase of Simba International, the UK's leading cultivation equipment manufacturer. GREAT PLAINS TRUCKING
Shipping efficiency and quality are increased through our in-house trucking company. Over the years, we have expanded to over 60 trucks and 100 trailers that deliver our products to our Great Plains and Land Pride dealer networks. They also bring back raw materials from vendors to our plants in Central Kansas. GPT also does contract hauling for other companies. The GPT Maintenance Shop performs full service maintenance.
